I bought 2 of them when I read it plays scratched and damaged dvd's since I rent allot of movies from Netflix. The only problem I had was when I want to play a dvd for the beginning it resumes where I left off then I realized I have to select stop first. My only other complaint is that the remote is large but the buttons are small otherwise I would say I'm happy with it.Digital camera Review: Does what it should

The Sony DVD player is great. It performs flawlessly, simple to use and does not freeze on some DVDs as my old one did (also a sony). The price is right-can't see where you can go wrong if you want a straight forward player.
