I could not get it to work with my television. When I tried to register the warrenty, Sony declined the model number. They said it did not exist. I decided to order this player even after I've read some bad reviews on it. Amazon.com rarely gives hassle about returning an item if it's defected, so I wasn't worried. I believe it's been about 2 weeks since I've had the player. Watch a movie every night on it and it still works fine. Remote for power on has a lil delay. I have to press it twice sometimes. Other than that it is good for your money. This will probably be the last "retail" DVD player I ever purchase. Game consoles are made to run for long periods of times and wouldn't die out on you for many years to come. Or look up industrial DVD players (starting around the same price as a new gaming console)if you're really looking for a player to last you years. Honestly I do not expect this player to last for 2 years but I am expecting at least 1 full year out of it. Digital camera Review: Great product.
