I bought this because I travel frequently. The problem is even with my BOSE headset- you can not get the volume up high enought to hear it on a plane. Even not being on the plane- volume is terrible. Comprado originalmente para mi hija de 3 años. Lleva ya 6 meses de uso extremo, me refiero a que se ensucia muchísimo, le ha caído líquido, borusas de galletas, etc., y sigue trabajando como el primer día. Solo cambiaría la forma de cargar los DVD. Para colocar un DVD se debe abrir la tapa central, esto expone el lector y el mecanismo completo. Mi hija lo ha tocado, movido y manipulado infinidad de veces y sigue funcionando como nuevo. Yo cambiaría el sistema de carga del DVD por un sistema de carga frontal para evitar este problema. Del resto, excelente en todo sentido para lo cual fue comprado. La batería dura 5 horas, perfecto en todo sentido, compacto y liviano (mi hija lo carga sin problemas por toda la casa). This player was bought as a gift for my 15 year old. Very easy to use, excellant picture quality.Only minor quibble would be speaker sound quality.However, when we use it its usually being with either earphones or external speakers. It's Sony, what do you have to say! I have had couple of other DVD Players before I owned this one. This is really a superior product compared to the previously owned products. It has many features such as Video In/Out, 2 Audio Headphone outputs, All Control buttons right by the Screen and Power Adapter that can work in US and anywhere else - No Voltage converter required. Also include all the necessary cables and especially a nice remote control. It is worth each penny.Digital camera Review: Excellent player for the money

This is the best portable DVD player for the money to date. First off, my biggest issue with portable DVD players is the poor quality screens. Panasonic probably makes the best portable units, but their screens are a joke. The lcd pixels are HUGE for their screen size and it ends up in very poor picutre quality. This Sony model is the only unit I found that had a small pixel structure in it's lcd. (very similar to a laptop lcd) I couldn't stand watching the other brands players because of the stair step jagginess to edges. The Sony does a better job at hiding it because of its smaller pixels. The unit comes with all of the accessories you could need including a car adapter. The clincher was the fact that the battery fits nicely under the unit and does not extend out at any point making it very compact and truly portable. You will easily get at least 4-5 hours on one charge. My only complaint is that the audio needs some help. It is not very loud and I recommend a boostaroo if you plan on using it on airplane travel. Overall, this is an excellent unit for the money, as it can be had for less than $200. Would be 5 stars if the audio was louder.
