I purchased this DVD player for a trip that I was taking to California. My current DVD player only had a 2 hour battery life and I wanted a DVD player with a longer battery life. My flight from Miami, FL to Los Angeles, CA was over 5 hours. I watched 2-2+ hour movies and the battery still had life. The screen has a great picture. The rotating screen is great for the lap trays on air planes. Paid $139 through Amazon. It was more expensive every where else. Can't find anything I don't like about it. This DVD player works and looks great. We have no complaints. It is a high quality unit, with intuitive controls (good placement of controls (stop, play, menu, etc.) is a plus in dark conditions). I really love this player! The only draw back for me is the volume. It does not get loud enough. I already had a pair of sony SRS-A20 battery powered speakers for my sony walkman.
