The dvd player works well shiny screen detracts somewhat but mostly it works like a Sony Sony DVP-FX810/R 8" Portable DVD Player Cherry Red
My thought why buy another musteg or durabrand that dies in 3 months when for a couple dollars more you get Sony quality.
Even Sony is probably a crapshoot as far as reliability when it comes to these devices but I will take a chance with them we have had it for several months and no issues yet

The Sony 8" DVD player is very nice. It is compact and I can watch it anywhere I want to. I can take it on trips, watch it in the car, I can watch it while sitting on the patio. I can use AC or DC to view it. The sound is somewhat low when other people are around talking, but being along when watching it, the sound is desireable. The quality of the picture and color are excellent. I love my portable DVD Player!!! All other features are excellent and the accessories that comes with it is a plus!! Thanks Sony!! very convenient size and light weight to carry. could be considered as not carryon, it is that small.
The picture is going to depend upon the disc you choose....some new will play nicely, older ones take a bit of coaxing.
but the accesories were perfect and the screen did not have any damage, mars, burned pixels, it was in great shape.
I feel I got a really good deal with this product from this seller.
