Digital camera Review: Excellent quality!

Just purchased recently and used on a round-trip to Hawaii. Loved it. Battery was better than any portable dvd player I've seen. Picture quality was good. Sound is strong and clear, even with both headphone ports plugged in. Would be nice if it came with some kind of carrying case and something to hold the bulky power pack. That's annoying but it's my only complaint. As far as functionality, it's a great product, nice value.Digital camera Review: Faulty battery

I bought this portable DVD player last year and while it was still under warranty, the recharable battery began to fail. The "charge" light never stopped blinking, and I could never fully charge it. I called customer services (I could tell it was somewhere in India) and the man told me they would send me a new battery. It never happened, I never got anything. Now the only way I can watch this is plugged in...which sort of defeats the entire purpose of it being "portable".
Another thing that randomly happens is that the buttons freeze up occasionally and I can't skip to another scene or go back. It doesn't happen all the time, usually only if I've paused the movie for a couple of minutes.
I have completely sworn off Sony products since I had this disappointing product/customer service experience and I can't say I regret it at all!

Finally a portable DVD with a truly spectacular picture. This is the 5th different DVD portable I have purchased and up until now I was pretty dissapointed with the grainy pictures I was seeing. This little guy has a great picture. The operation is smooth. Included is everything you need for portable viewing and inside viewing. Sony does it again. I've only owned this for 1 month but it has played every home made DVD-R I have made and every movie without a glitch! The sound is alos quite good for a portable unit. Great Dvd player. Is a little glossy but with the ability to adjust the screen you can take care of that. You can watch 2 full length movies and still have juice to spare. The sound is not the greatest but with headphones (noise reduction) it works awesome. I also bought one of the dvd cases that has speakers built in ( I think its by sound fx) which really helps pump up the volume. Very happy overall.Digital camera Review: Good but not great

I recently purchased this Portable Sony DVD Player, it plays all types of DVDs but not the VCDs, I like the product otherwise.
