Digital camera reviews of Sony DVPFX810 8-Inch Portable DVD Player, BlackDigital camera Review: This is TRASH Summary: 1 StarsAt the risk of sounding like an angry customer... THIS IS TRASH! The DVD player worked fine the first couple of times I used it, just long enough for the store return policy to run out. Now it has this neat habit of locking up on every disc I play in it. I am not talking about old beat up discs, brand new discs experience this. After it locks up I can't get it started again. I have to trick it into reseting by power cycling it without a disc in it, after that I can insert the other disc, fast forward to the point I was at and I can watch again. This tends to happen about every 40 minutes. Oh, did I mention Sony only warranties the labor for 30 days, so in order to get it fixed I have to come out of my pocket. Why bother to do that when I can get another one for $150?, but I am guessing that is part of their marketing plan. Do not buy this product!!!
Digital camera Review: We like it! Summary: 4 StarsHaven't used it too much yet, but it has a great picture and very easy to operate. Your price was the best I found and very quick delivery/
Digital camera Review: Portable DVD Review Summary: 5 StarsThis was a seamless transaction. A+ seller. The product has worked out well for us.
Digital camera Review: Just what I ordered Summary: 5 StarsI may not have as much to say about this product as I've seen others write but I must say that I could not be more happy with my purchase. It is exactly the product that was represented. I knew before I bought this product that there are inherent issues with any portable DVD player no matter what brand. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone!
Digital camera Review: This one's a Lemon Summary: 1 StarsI bought this cute little dvd player to watch movies for one. The styling is much chicer than the other ones on the market. The machine has two little speakers and a really cool remote control. Unfortunately, the sound is very tinny. For the best experience you should plug in some extra speakers or a headset. One other feature that they touted was a switch to use this dvd player for output to a tv, turns out this feature never worked. Also, after six months of use the motor is pausing seven or more times during a movie (always at the most dramatic turn of the plot it seems). I was so careful and gentle with this machine and it makes me so mad! Remember it's not 1986 anymore and Sony is no longer the hallmark of a quality machine. So, think of this as a cheap disposable trinket and you won't be disappointed.
