Digital camera Review: I love mine!!

I've had my Sony Dreammachine for over a year now, got it at a really great price at Target, and it's the best alarm clock I've ever had. I love the buzzer (the only alarm function I use). It's not obnoxious at all, as most buzzers are. I like that it's non-startling, because it doesn't scare the you-know-what out of my dog and cat every time it goes off. Also, another reviewer criticized the backlight, said it's not bright enough. Perhaps that person hasn't realized that there is a display adjustment button with three settings: low, medium, and UBER bright! I keep it bright during the day, and dim it to low or medium at night so that the light doesn't keep me up. It's perfect! Since I can't get radio reception where I live, I can't comment on that, but I love the CD player! Sounds pretty good for such an inexpensive model! Also, there is a "Nap" button so that if you like falling asleep to music, you can set it to turn off at 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Perfect for CDs that start out with softer songs but end up with hard core music.
Truly, this model has been the perfect CD Player/alarm clock for me! And my boyfriend likes it so much, I'm now purchasing one for him.

While the sound was great and many options were perfect, one major component for me was not in the product description. I need multiple alarms - one set for school days and one set for weekends - that you don't have to turn on every night. Given that this was not part of the product's system, it didn't work for my situation.
So I sent it back.

Love the choice of three alarm settings---I can reset the alarm for weekend with a push of a button. Display light has three settings so no problem there. Digital tuner always a plus. LOVE the snooze button--tap once for 10 minutes, twice for 20 minutes, etc. Fits nicely on my bed side table. Any downsides? So many buttons I'm having trouble finding the right ones in the dark. And no battery backup in the case of a power outage. My daughter's new cd-clock-radio cost half as much and has has half the featues, but still has a battery backup for power outages!! I had a cd player alarm clock that quit playing cd's 3 months later. This alarm clock is amazing! i appreciate the different settings and the fantastic sound!
