This is a fine product, except for the design.It is horrible.It looks like a martian face. i am ok with all the features the radio am and fm works great , cd is also good. the ONLY problem i have with this unit, is if you are lying in bed and you are lower than the clock radio its hard to see the clock #. so i have something under the back of the unit to tilt the front forwards so i can see the clock in bed , that is why i gave it 4stars ....... remote would have been nice,Digital camera Review: GREAT RADIO/ALARM

This 2 alarm radio doesn't take up much space, has lots of good features and I use them all -- alarms for radio, buzzer, and CD, nap, sleep, TV audio, weather station, etc. The two things that would make it perfect are: 1) external speaker jacks - the sound is acceptable but not great; 2) ablility to have "sleep" music at a lower volume than "wake" music. I need lots of sound to wake up, but want quiet music to go to sleep.Digital camera Review: Good Clock Radio and Value

I recently purchased this unit, which I received undamaged and in perfect condition. The unit works very well, and is a great value. The sound is above average using the Mega-bass. The only drawback is that the volume knob is on the back right side, which is bad if you sleep on the left.
All in all - I recommend buying it.

We have had a Dream Machine since 2000 and it got dropped and broke. this new Sony Dream Machine with CD player is great, the reception for the radio stations is not as good as the older model. We would recommend it.
