I upgraded from using a business mic to one of these and came to be very happy. The mic has high clarity-- certainly it is more than adequately sensitive. It also picks up a signal which, though less stereo than some, nonetheless provides a signal bifurcated enough to allow the listener to place objects by ear. The mic is very small and light, and appears very sturdy. It has been ideal for my use with a Sony MD Recorder. I'm using this mic with the Boss Micro BR and I'm very pleased. I record jam sessions in my living room that consist of an amplied bass, acoustic guitar and djembe drums. I set the mic up in the middle of the room on an improvised stand. The recordings come out very sharp. I played a session back on a surround sound system, and if you closed your eyes, you'd be convinced that live musicians were jamming all around you. I got this mic from a seller on Amazon Marketplace for about $24 including s/h. That's about 1/2 the retail price for this, but I just found out, too late, that I could have got it on ebay for as little as $5 including S/H. I use it for my Kodak Zi8 pocket HD camera and it's great, so don't hesitate to get it...just make sure you get it on ebay for a lot less .Digital camera Review: Good Quality microphone

I use this microphone to help take lecture note. This microphone helps boost the quality of the recording and cancel out some of the background noise. I have been impressed with this microphone.
