Digital camera Review: No regrets whatsovever!
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband and I love to hike and backpack and we like to set-up our video camera to record the scenery around us when we stop for meals and breaks but we always had to have the camera real close to us in order to pick-up our voices clearly.

After researching, we decided to purchase this microphone to use on our recent backpacking trip to Colorado. We love this microphone! The microphone picked up our voices clearly even when we had the video camera as far away as 75 feet from us so that the beautiful mountain scenery would be recorded also.

My only regret is that we didn't purchase this microphone when we first bought our video camera.

Digital camera Review: Not Great but Pretty Damn Good!
Summary: 4 Stars

Got this thing as a gift about 5 weeks ago, and my primary use of it right now is hanging it on my 3-year-old grandson. I really don't care much for the little box microphone -- I'd happily pay more for a transmitter that clips on a belt, with a little wire and microphone -- something like I use at work. Although the microphone is not really so noticeable, my grandson keeps fooling with it. BUT audio quality is a terrific improvement over the built-in mic -- at least you receive less ambient noise -- not necesarily better sound quality, just better sound from the main subject. It's REALLY easy to use, the receiver clips onto the camera easily; the transmitter clips onto a shirt or sweater nicely (complaints about the quality of the clip I don't understand), and the lanyard works nicely (except for that scratchy little section of it that seems to always fit right at the back of the subject's neck. There's gotta be a way around this), but I think the armband is silly. I HATE that stupic little black storage bag, and am searching for the right little plastic box to store it in. All-in-all, I am really happy with this, it captures audio realy well, it's easy to use, and does what I expect of it.

Digital camera Review: Not bad but wait for Version 2
Summary: 3 Stars

I use this system with an AVCHD camera for our sermons on sundays, to ensure clean audio. It works great, but a little bulky. The unit drains batteries fast, so use lithium or rechargables. The clip on the microphone is very flimsy and will slide off easily. Use it if you don't care about others seeing a big fat microphone on your subject. Wait for the next model from Sony.

Digital camera Review: OK product
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this product about one month ago, and have used it quite a few times since buying it. I used it for recording at a open mic, and it did all right. There was still a lot of background noise on this, and the scratching sound was very audible, even with the wind sock on it. The neck carrier that comes with this is not near as bad as others have described it. It would be nice to have a different lapel clip though. Over all the sound recorded is of very good quality and the range is very good as well.

Digital camera Review: Outstanding mic -Bluetooth
Summary: 5 Stars

This mic is so easy to use. We use it in our elementary school & my 5th graders have no problem with it. It's actually easier to use than other more expensive mics are. The quality of the audio is excelent.
