I am very pleased with the Sony sound bar. I purchased it because the speakers on my Sony plasma were very weak and inadequate. I use the soundbar in my bedroom and it has greatly enhanced my audio and provided more than adequate volume and bass response. Having said that one must keep in mind that the sound bar is not intended to replace a 5.1 system, but if you want to enhance the sound of your tv in a medium to small room I do not think you will be disappointed with the HTCT100.
