Digital camera Review: A great solution for the price

Pros
- Only 2 pieces as opposed to 7 with a traditional 5.1 setup, which also means...
- Only 2 wires! A power cord and a wire to connect the sub/receiver to the soundbar.
- Decent sound. This is NOT going to sound better or even as-good-as a standard 5.1 system, don't fool yourself.
- Price. My wife found these for $250, and that's a pretty darn good price.
- Connections. The thing has a LOT of them.
Cons
- The remote. Seriously, the thing has about 40 buttons and I only use 5, volume up/down, mute, power and input. And crazy enough, even those aren't laid out very well.
- Setup. People complain that there is no mid-range or that voice is hard to hear. These are people who obviously have either never set up a 5.1 sound system before or didn't read the manual. By default, the center channel is very quiet and the subwoofer is very loud. It took me about 15 minutes of going through the manual before I finally figured out how to alter those two settings, and now there's no issue with quiet speech or the lows drowning out the highs.
- As I mentioned, this does not sound as good as a 5.1 system.
Soundbars are for people who want decent sound at a reasonable price and don't want to monkey with receivers or wires snaking through their walls or under their carpet. In that regard, this product is a resounding success. I lament the fact that I don't get a true surround sound experience anymore, but I'm happy that my children no longer pull my speaker stands down on top of them, or futz with my receiver's buttons and throw everything off. It's easy (once you set it up) and it sounds great. You can't ask for much more than that.

I read a lot of reviews before settling for this purchase. I could not be happier. The set up was apparently easy (although I watched my brother-in-law perform the duties)and I'm very happy with the results. Now, I don't have a high need to own the "best of the best" where sound systems are concerned but this is a good choice for my family and the price was fair.Digital camera Review: AMAZING SOUND A FEW QUIRKS.

I am very satisfied with my sound bar and sub woofer. It produces amazing sound with rumbling bass great for blu ray movies or ps3 games, which is mainly what I wanted it for. Easy setup in 10 minutes and very happy with it.
Only a couple things which I wish it had, which are not very big, I wish the dialogue on movies was louder, I've tried turning up the center and lowering bass but bass is still very loud if I turn it up so I can hear the vocals very clearly. I wish it had a little more EQ settings so I could twaek a little more but can't complain for only $300.
If you have a medium-small are for setup and space this is the best buy. You will be very happy with it. Also sound AMAZING on rockband, your friends will love it.

I bought this to simplify the TV system for the wife. It works great if you have all Sony equipment. I can control all the equipment from one controller with everything turning on and off automaticallt. The Sound is what one would expect from a simple, cheap system. It is not 5.1 or 7.1 but I love the ease of use. If the 150 is the same, I highly recommend it. It is the only HDMI switch sound bar that I have found. Mine worked well, though not smart, with non-Sony components. The pass through is also nice, for those who don't want the sound bar on alll the time. If you use the 3 HDMI inputs, the unit does have to be on to switch inputs.Digital camera Review: Amazing Product!!!!

I bought this to compliment my TV/Movie viewing experience. The one great thing is the 3 HDMI inputs, this is amazing, it eliminates the need for cable clutter and makes everything work seemless. The rich tones and deep bass also add to the experience. My only complaint would be that the volume level is a bit low, but its still loud enough to enjoy movies.
