Very nice little radio. AM reception is exceptionally good in comparison with other radios we've tried. We live in the mountains and reception has been very marginal using other radios. This Sony is very clear. The weather radio works very well. FM is very acceptable and the sound quality is very good. There is an attached electric cord tucked away in the battery compartment that is very nice to have when using the radio at home. There is a TV audio mode, but it does not function since television has gone digital. Over all this is a very good "back up" radio to use when power is out or when camping, etc. We're very pleased with this purchase.Digital camera Review: Great product and service
