I bought this clock, cause it was smaller than my old one. I wanted something compact for my nightstand but not flimsy and cheap looking. This clock is amazing. It's cute in white, the numbers are clear at night but not too bright where it becomes blinding, has 2 different alarm settings. Love it. You can use batteries or plug it into the wall.
The radio is not too clear though, but that might be my neighborhood.

I am pleased with my purchase. It is everything it says. It had a flap of directions so you could set it to your particular time zone. I like the dual alarms, the snooze which allows you to hit it once for 10 min or 2 or 3 times in a row for 20 or 30 minutes on up! You can adjust the brightness on the face of the clock and the green color numbers are a nice change from the red ones of my other clock. It is VERY easy to change the time and very user friendly. The only problem for me is the radio reception is nil, but that isn't sony's fault, I live in the country. (Small sacrifice to not have a radio!) I recommend this clock. This IS the perfect clock/radio. Everything about it is great, from the color, to being able to read the time very easily. I get great reception with the radio. I like the size, not too small, but not too big. It is the best alarm clock that I have ever purchased and in the future, I will purchase the same one when I do need a new one or if it is not available anymore, I will purchase from the same manufacturer. I've had my first clock for over a year, and recently bought a second for the guest room. The clock automatically sets the time. It also adjusts for daylight savings time appropriately. Digital read out readily visible, but not so bright that it illuminates the room at night. Primary use as a clock, since radio reception isn't terrific, but for the price it is still a good value.
