Digital camera reviews of Sony ICF-C318 Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (Black)Digital camera Review: A great way to wake up! Summary: 3 Stars
Personally, I hate waking up to a buzz. My old, and I mean old, clock radio only offered two reachable stations and I was continually falling back to sleep. This cutie pulls in the classical music station that I love. I can snooze and listen for a half hour, wake up gradually, before the second alarm beeps to alert me that it's indeed time for my sleepy self to get out of bed. The clock is easy to use, has a dimming button for the display which is large enough for me to read without my coke-bottle eye glasses.
No, it's not an artistic treasure, but one rarely gets an artistic treasure for this price. It's precisely what I wanted and worked well from the moment I took it out of the box and plugged it in.
At first I highly recommended this product, but I've taken away two stars because after a bit over a year the alarm setting knob stopped working correctly. It's supposed to go back and forward in time, making it easy to adjust, but now only goes forward. I'm wondering what feature will go next...
Otherwise, I would highly recommend this curvatious black treasure.
Digital camera Review: A nice clock radio wake-up alarm. Summary: 5 Stars
Alarm gets louder and louder until you must wake up and get up.

Digital camera Review: Absolute Garbage!! Summary: 1 Stars
Sony has went down the toilet!! If I could rate this item with a negative amount of stars, I would have. I purchased the original Dream Machine (which was an amazing alarm clock) about ten years ago and the only reason I was replacing it was due to having dropped it about fifty times over the past ten years, the buttons began collapsing into the clock. Construction on this model however is horrible. Cheap thin plastic throughout and the buttons on this unit are a soft touch so even the slightest bump and your settings will change. With all of its pre-settings, the alarm only went off half the time. I am a multiple snoozer and this clock adds ten minutes to every snooze push so if you hit the button once, it goes off again in ten minutes. Push it another time and the alarm sounds in twenty minutes. Push it a third time and the clock waits thirty minutes to sound the alarm again. This setting cannot be changes either like other alarms on the market. What is Sony thinking??? Do yourself a favor and buy another alarm clock from another company IF YOU WANT TO WAKE UP ON TIME!!!
Digital camera Review: Alarm Clock Radio Summary: 4 Stars
I don't like it as well as the original dream machine purchased 25 years ago. No pre-set selections for different stations for the radio alarm, and station selection is not digital. No selection to eliminate weekend alarms. Limited to just one station unless you want to dial to another one. But couldn't find anything as nice as the original to replace it. I bought this one only because it was a Sony, and I've had such a great experience with the last one. I'm not completely satisfied, but I'll get used to it.
Digital camera Review: Alarm clock Persoanalized Summary: 5 Stars
Time is easy to set, you can have more than one alarm set at a time or use one for weekdays and one for weekends. You control the brightness of the face of the clock as well as the volume. You get to make the decisions based upon your needs. It even has a cord long enough that placement is actually an option. It is unobrusive and does not take up the whole or even half the night table. This is a good looking/non-obtrusive essential item in the bedroom. It is well woth owning and is not that expensive, yet, odd as it sounds, a personal alarm clockl.
