Digital camera Review: Big Numbers

This clock I've shopped for and looked around for almost a year, looking for the "Perfect Clock" . This isn't the perfect clock but it's pretty near to it.
All it needs is a CD player and Light sensor in addition to what features it already has. Cd player to wake up to YOUR Fav. music and light sensor to Auto. bring up the clock light to bright when light comes on in the room.
Now the Review.
I Love this clock because I can set the light level to as dim as I like at night and still see the time without interfering with the light level I like in my bedroom, DARK. I also wear glasses and when I take them off at night I still would like to see and read the time if I wake up at like 3 AM. I can read these numbers because they are so large even with my glasses off. The 9-volt Battery back up is a must and this clock has it. It's not to large of an area it takes up nor to tall, it just right for ME. I love this clock even without the CD player and Light sensor.

Sony's "Large Display" AM/FM clock radio works as advertised. The big numbers on the clock face are clearly visible from across a large room. Just the thing for "older eyes" that need to see the time in the wee hours of the morning. Settings and radio elements are easy to use and satisfactory. I've had this alarm for all of about 20 minutes now and I already see something that concerns me. I'm a relatively light sleeper and I prefer to have very soft radio come on to see if it awakens me (this is what I do with my current Sony dual alarm clock).
On this one, apparently you can't have the radio come on BEFORE the buzzer--if you want to use the buzzer as the last ditch effort to awaken you. If you try to have the radio come on before the buzzer, the manual clearly states that the buzzer will not activate. How...odd. I guess this behavior caters to folks who keep the radio on while they're getting ready. Which is great if someone else isn't still trying to sleep.
