I was a little concerned about the sound quality and the lighting based on the other reviews. This product has definitely exceeded my expectations for the price. The sound quality and volume are excellent considering its form factor and the light level is fine with options for bright, dim, and off. The radio tuner is very precise and works great with the built-in antenna wire. The built-in mp3 cable works great with Pandora on my Android phone. Considering I was upgrading from a REALLY aweful little clock radio, this was a huge step up. After you read the instructions, the clock was a breeze to operate. Nice big display. Easy "Snooze" button for those mornings where you juuuuuust can't find the off button (you all know what I mean). High quality sound. I'm a fan.Digital camera Review: A good buy with nice features!

This is a good buy with great features...allowing for the use of an mp3 player to be attached, playing a CD, listening to the radio, and 2 different alarms can be set - which is super convenient. It fits nicely on the nightstand, too. I am generally very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good clock-radio with various capabilities. I have one small criticism...the display light is too bright. Even on the lowest of 3 settings, it still shines a bit too bright and this can be a little unnerving during the night. That said, the ability to raise the display light is also a nice feature if a little light is needed during the night. Overall, a great buy with some excellent features. After living with my old clock radio for over 20 years, I thought it was time for a change. I was tired of trying to figure out what station I had on with the analog tuning, so I knew I wanted digital tuning with maybe a CD player and an MP3 connection. Well, it turned out to be a difficult search. Some of the clock radios I saw seemed too flimsy to last, while others were in the $300 range [beyond my budget]. I bought and returned 2 clock radios because they couldn't even get reception of the local news station and was beginning to think that what I wanted didn't exist. After reading many reviews, I decided to try this Sony...the Amazon price was great and it was at my door 24 hours after I ordered it. I admit that I would prefer it to be somewhat smaller, but other that that it was great. I get wonderful reception on both AM and FM, it has digital tuning as well as about 15 preset stations, and I'm happy with the CD sound quality [haven't tried the MP3 yet]. As some reviewers said, it doesn't light up the room..there are 3 light setting which you can change simply by hitting the snooze bar. Also, the time sets itself. Yesterday I accidentally knocked out the plug and all I had to do was re-plug it...the time and my alarm setting came right back on.Digital camera Review: A little too expensive.

Overall I like this alarm clock but in the lowest setting it is hard to read the time and any brighter lights up your whole bedroom. It is a little expensive for what it is but I am happy with it overall.
