Digital camera Review: An average performer

I purchased this clock back in 2007 or so and still have it. I will second what a lot are saying about the unit:
1) The backlight, even on the lowest setting, can be too bright
2) There are a myriad of tiny buttons to control the individual functions of the unit
Otherwise I have no complaints. Pulls in all of the local stations just find and has surprising sound for such a small clock radio. I do like the auto time set and the built in battery to retain time and alarm settings. I keep looking for new alarm clocks and keep coming back to this unit. I even had a fancier one with an iPod dock and a digital picture frame but the build quality of that unit was poor so I came back to this one.
The price has also come down to a reasonable level. It's a solid 3 * performer. Comes with a built in Audio In cord to connect iPod or other MP 3 players.

This clock radio/CD player has the same kinds of short comings found in almost all modern clock radios and clock radio/CD combos. It has intensely bright LCD back panel lighting which even at the lowest setting will drive you to a blind fold! The controls are placed in awkward locations and difficult to find in the dark given their very small size. It has no audio out jack for external earphones or speaker. FM reception is about average as far as range reception and sound quality. Average for clock radios is almost always terrible.
SONY has made some good home electronics and I was really disappointed with their effort on this model.

Although I never received my order from this site, amazon was very good about crediting my account (thanks amazon). However I did find it on another site (target), and I am so glad that I purchased this alarm clock. It has ALL the features I was looking for plus some, battery back up (a must for me), dual alarm (great feature), and I love that fact that I can wake to either buzzer, alarm, or CD. I use the CD and it is so nice to wake up to one of my favorite artists. It was easy to set up, it has a nice sound, and I love the dual alarm (no longer have to reset the alarm in the morning). I have owned a few alarm clocks in my day and this is by far the "BEST" one I've owned yet!!Digital camera Review: Best CD Clock Radio I have ever owned!

I have absolutely NO complaints about this clock radio. It is everything advertised and more. Lighting low enough for even the pickiest sleeper!!! I love it!
