Loaded with options. Good sound for its size. When using the CD for alarm, you can select what track to play and set the volume. It can be set to be very dim too, so it won't bother the light sleeper. I burnt my own CD with my favorite tunes and I can change which tune to wake up every no and then. We purchased this radio to replace a clock radio we had for over 25 years. Never thought we could find one as great as what we had once had. This Sony is remarkable, shows the time in several lights, plays cd's, radio has a timer and so far has been perfect. I am not super fast with the new technology but the directions are good and I have learned how to run this great little radio. Thanks for stocking it. I now have 3 of these in my house. For the size and price it is the best CD alarm on the market that I have found. My other family members like them as well. Sound is great and when the power goes out, do not have to reset the time, which is wonderful. Also when I move, which is often, I do not have to worry about time zone changes, there is a special button for that. I love it.Digital camera Review: Big but AWESOME!!!!

The alarm is pretty sweet. Apart from the usual stuff that it rocks, i love the three lighting settings it has. The previous dream machine i had
had a really bright light bleed from the back and was kinda annoying. This one eliminated that problem by having three setting, the lowest of which barely emits any light.
Only two things i wish sony would fix on its next incarnation.. Make is smaller and have a docking port for the ipod.
If this thing was smaller, i would have given it 5 stars...
this thing is worth the money
