This little AM and FM shower radio with CD player is great. It is well worth the price, having both the sound and the quality of all Sony products. I don't use it in the shower, though, since I have a cheap little shower radio that works just fine.
I needed a portable CD player to use in Children's Bible classes and I didn't want to haul around a big boom box. Also, I have used it to accompany myself in musical performances. It works great for small classes and rooms.
I bought a cheap adapter so I wouldn't have to use so many batteries. I'm very happy with both products.

The Sony Liv Shower Cd Player/clock radio has far exceeded my expectations. I live in a rural area, and with other radios, I have always had trouble bringing in stations clearly. The Sony Liv has clear, crisp sound, excellent fine tuning, and the CD Player and clock are an added bonus! It's an excellent package.I highly recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase another.

My expectation was high for this was SONY. I used a similar CD player in shower before but quick battery consumption dissatisfied me. Since I received it as a gift in May 2007, I have used it 2-3 times a week not when taking a shower, but a long bath. I usually listen to CD not radio, but batteries remain so far.
The quality of the sound is something you notice. First of all, there is 'no sound' in the very beginning of activating CD.. Even nice CD players sometimes makes some electronic sound of circulating CD before it actually plays music, but this one not. It quietly starts and you can listen to classical music with small volume (this is precious if you know what I mean). I don't use it to hang in shower or even let it wet. This is still electricity and I don't want any damage on it by water, so I place it on a toilet tank. I'm just satisfied with one comapct CD player in the bathroom which has good sound quality. You don't need an instruction for it. Very intuitive.

This shower CD Player is great. All features are available at the touch of your finger. That would help when you have soap in your eyes. The radio has a preset feature for your fav channels. Reception is good for stronger channels, but the radio's antenna only can do so so. This unit claims that it is for the shower, but the manual gives instruction not to have near direct water. I haven't chanced it, so I've placed it just out side the shower within my reach. I would definitely recommend this item it is very good quality.
