Digital camera Review: CD Player Stopped Working
Summary: 1 Stars

I don't have one, but two of these Sony Dream Machine CD Alarm Clocks. I got one for my daughter when she was an infant to play music for her bedtime. We liked it so much that when my son was born we got one for him too.

Now 2 years after buying the 1st one and 1 year after the second one, they both have stopped working. The CD player part that is. They won't spin the CDs. So then trying to find a radio station for my son to fall asleep too, we noticed how poor the dial is for the radio. The stations that I can get, are so far off from what the dial tells me is the station number. Come on Sony, with the technology for the 2000s can't you come up with a digital dial.

Plus like others have said, there is no repeat or shuffle for the CD. This option would have come in handy many times. Also the volume dial is far in the back side of the radio.

What I do like is it is smaller than most CD alarm clocks. It is sleek looking sitting on the shelve.

I doubt I will buy a Sony Radio again.

perfect. It was a present that this guy was looking for, but couldn't find, so I found it with you.

Digital camera Review: CD clock radio
Summary: 3 Stars

Nice radio, good sound, large and clear time display. Setting the alarm is much more complicated than it ought to be. Directions are not clear.

Digital camera Review: CD player broke after 9 months
Summary: 1 Stars

The title says it. I was tempted to title it "Usual Sony Junk" as it's not the first Sony product that has just crapped out for me early in its life. In this case, the CD no longer spins or plays.

Also, I found the controls quite complex and niggly -- poor UI is the modern term. But finally having mastered that, it broke. Now it's just a bulky clock and traditional alarm.

Not recommended.

Digital camera Review: CD player broke after two days
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this cd clock radio from a chain store in my area and found that though I liked that I could change the brightness of the display, this item fails completely as a cd player. I had it for three days and played two cds on it (once each) and after emitting a strange low sound accompanying the spinning disc it stopped working entirely on the third attempt. I returned the player and am now looking for something better.

Don't waste your money on this product. Just get a digital clock instead since that's all this thing will give you anyway.
