This is a great well made radio for an amazingly cheap price. It sounds good, brings in stations well and is simple to use. Battery life is very good. It is durable, I have managed to drop it off of the desk a few times and it has survived with only a slight scratch. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well made, no frills back to basics radio. You won't have to read a product manual to make it work. I love this radio so much, I bought two. The first one was purchased six months ago and after listening to it every day, I have yet to replace batteries. Going for walks, I just stick it in my pocket -- no need for a headphone.
