Digital camera Review: Exactly What We Were Looking For

Our inexpensive bathroom radio finally gave out after 10 years so it was time for a new one. I quickly discovered that simple radios aren't very common in stores these days, even at Best Buy. I found a radio for $20 at Walmart. It was almost useless because it did not pull in very many stations. So I shopped on Amazon and found this Sony, and, according to the description, it meets our needs to a tee. I was a little hesitant to buy a Sony product sight unseen. We have two Sony products in our house: A small transistor radio for the kitchen (excellent), and a compact stereo for my workshop (junk). Luckily, the Sony shower radio is like our kitchen radio. It's extremely well designed and functions beautifully. The reception is excellent and the sound is very good for a small unit. I can't conceive of a single improvement for what we need this radio to do.Digital camera Review: Excellent

I purchased this years ago for my mother and she loves it and five years later, I got her a replacement. I love the option for checking the weather and you can also tune into your local TV stations and listen to your favorite programs. This is a great item that Sony made and I hope they never stop making it. Well worth the price and believe me this is an excellent gift. When a bad storm hit and knocked out the power, my mother was able to use this radio to check the weather and hear the local news. I mainly use the radio each morning while getting ready for my day. I don't use it in the shower but have it on my bathroom counter. Receiption of AM stations is excellent. You may have to rotate the radio slightly to get the best signal strength. Local FM stations can be received without extending the wire antenna. The only negative item I have is the small digital clock. It could be a little larger. Overall, it's a great little radio with excellent battery life.Digital camera Review: Excellent Product

We bought this for use in our small bathroom. Although we do not put it directly in the shower, it does get covered with steam every time we shower. It seems to be holding up very well.
The sound quality is excellent. We normally listen to public radio news shows in the morning. The radio picks up the station without using the antenna. You can hear the news clearly over the sound of the shower.
