Some inexpensive headphones were needed for a children's computer lab. These fit the bill perfectly. The sound quality is decent and they appear to be fairly sturdy (none broken after six weeks of kid use). These head phones have great sound quality and are very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend them for computer use if you're like me and keep the CPU on the floor, since the cord is quite short, but they're perfect for what I got them for: replacing my iPod's uncomfortable earbuds.Digital camera Review: Great sound for the price

Sony lives up to their reputation in sound quality. The bass is great, the highs are crisp and clear. The plug is a right angle style which reduces cord stress, great for a laptop or an old school Discman. They are very comfortable and lightweight. Made in Thailand, not China.
As other reviewers have noted, the cord is simply too short (only 1m length). But for $6 headphones, one can't complain too much. Now where's my stereo-mini extension cord...
