Digital camera reviews of Sony MDR-A35G HeadphonesDigital camera Review: Best style for the gym Summary: 4 Stars
I bought these to replace a pair of Sony MDR-A34L headphones, which are the same style, because I haven't found anything nearly as good for the gym. When running, they stay put and are comfortable. I don't really think the "sweat guard" offers any real benefit, and I sweat a lot, but it doesn't really do anything bad. The hinges on this one seem to be a little flimsier than on the Sony MDR-A34L, but they haven't broken so I am hoping they hold up.
Digital camera Review: Better than most Summary: 4 Stars
These headphones are exactly what they're billed as: Sports phones. You won't get any thumping bass or crystal clear audio out of them, but they stay in my ears after three miles of running, and sound decent enough.
This is a great purchase for anyone who uses their iPod mainly at the gym, and has tired of those awful, awful earbuds that it comes with.
Also, I love the folding headset.
Digital camera Review: Better than what you get with the iPod, but will eventually break Summary: 2 Stars
These headphones are indeed a step up from the Apple ear buds if you take your iPod on a run. Initially, these headphones were just the ticket. They folded up nicely in my carry-on (I travel weekly), and were VERY secure on my runs.
Then they broke. Then I kicked myself for not taking to heart the many other reviews indicating their fragility.
As noted in other reviews, it would be much better to have a metal band running through the headset rather than it being made of separate plastic components. But that's what you get for the price.
Digital camera Review: Brakes easy Summary: 1 Stars
The plastic hindge at the top of the fold broke after about 3 months of use. The good sound quality is of no use if the item is broken!
Digital camera Review: Break easily Summary: 3 Stars
Very comfortable. I have purchased three pairs because of their comfort and because they travel well and are easy to throw in my gym bag. However, they do break...it takes quite a few wears, but eventually the plastic will snap near the joints. I do expect a lot of wear and tear from my equipment though, because I am so active. If you are less active, they will most likley work very well for you.
