Digital camera reviews of Sony MDR-A35G S2 Sports Headphones with Sweat Guard MechanismDigital camera Review: Love 'em but they break Summary: 2 StarsThey feel great, good sound, but I mostly listen to books on tape/cd. However, the stems break. I've had 4ish so far and when the frames break one is sol. I've glued and wired and taped them, seems to help, looks pretty ugly. Jim
Digital camera Review: Almost Perfect... Summary: 4 StarsAlmost perfect because they have great sound, great fit, stay put during workouts and are easy to carry safely in My Gym Bag. Why Almost then??? Because for them to be Perfect they would have to have an "In-Line Volume Control". With an In-Line Volume Control You can turn them down so that You can Talk and Listen without taking the Headphones off and You can also adjust the volume without having to take your MP-3 or iPod off your waist and look at it to adjust the volume... a real pain in the butt actually. P.S.: The sweat guard works great but, only if the skin on your ears doesn't sweat.
Digital camera Review: Work great for me! Summary: 5 StarsThis is the 2nd pair of these headphones that I have owned. I bought my first pair 3 years ago. I've tried others, but these are the most comfortable for my ears. Great for running!
Digital camera Review: New generation v. cheaply made Summary: 2 StarsI got these headphones a long time ago but they recently broke. I puchased this newer set to replace them but they are terribly flimsy.
Digital camera Review: They always break Summary: 1 StarsThese are good enough for what I need in headphones for walking around, but they always break. I mean, I understand that everything will eventually break - but things are only inexpensive if they last a reasonable amount of time. If these cost $15 and you need to buy 4 pairs a year, compared to ones that cost $25 and they last two years, the latter are the less expensive pair.
Being cheap, I would prefer if these would just not break so easily - and it isn't that I'm being rough with them - I treat them well, but eventually they die (usually the sound goes out in the left ear).
I am no longer going to get these, fool me... 4 times. Doh!
