Digital camera reviews of Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia HeadphonesDigital camera Review: Best I've ever owned Summary: 5 Stars
I've traditionally been disappointed with ear-bud type headphones, but after reading some great reviews and the price drops on these, I decided to give it a try. Don't confuse these ear-plug types with the ear-buds; there's no similarity of function or comfort.
These are the best headphones I've ever owned. They're perfectly comfortable with fantastic rich, deep sound. When the bass punches, it feels though your head should be vibrating. They block out sound wonderfully well, which suits them well for plane travel or public places. These would be well-suited as an alternative to $300 noise cancelling headphones.
Digital camera Review: Best bang for the buck Summary: 4 Stars
I have not been real thrilled with Sony products lately but this one is an exception. For the price I think this is the best bang for your buck. I use them with my iPod and am real happy with the sound quality and bass. They are also pretty good at blocking noise. I keep mine in an Altoid tin in my laptop bag for use at work and when traveling.
Digital camera Review: Best budget earbuds ever - perfect for PSP/iPod Summary: 5 Stars
For less than 30 dollars, these (or the white ones) are the perfect earbud headphones - they sound great and are tiny (very portable). They also come with 3 sizes of rubber earbuds so they'll probably fit your ear perfectly (important for best sound quality). I use them with my PSP and iPod and they work fantastically with both! I got the black color to match the PSP, but the white ones match the iPod so take your pick. One other plus for me (though it may be negative for you) is that they block out surrounding noise very efficiently. I have to leave one ear free when I may need to hear something (but in most cases - especially when i'm on an airplane - this is an advantage rather than a disadvantage). Simply put, unless you spend $$$ on some uber-earbuds (shure e3C, etc.) you'll never find better earbuds. A must have for your mp3 player or PSP.
Digital camera Review: Best ear buds I have experienced so far Summary: 4 Stars
These ear buds are the most comfortable ear buds I have experienced with so far. They do cancel out noise fairly well. They are light weight, so they don't bother me at all. The adjustable size fitment is really awesome. I have smaller ears, and most other ear-insert headphones out there are just uncomfortably big for me. They work for a little while, then I start to feel pain inside my ears.
I am not an audiophile, so I am not as sensitive with the "bass" as other people. I do LIKE music and I like my song with bass, so I can say that the earplugs have just enough bass quality in them for me to enjoy everything I listen to.
With the light weight and proper fitness, I jog and ride my bike without worrying about them falling out. The length of the cord is not too short so that gives you flexibility on using them.
Great buy, highly recommended - MDR-EX51LP.
