Digital camera reviews of Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia In-The-Ear Headphones, WhiteDigital camera Review: Be Afraid, be very afraid Summary: 1 Stars
I was wondering if my hearing was just plain bad, the ipod was fried or do these earbuds stink. Well, after trying a large assortment of earbuds I realized that I hear just fine and these things are crap. The botton end is miserable. If you like very little base response, Lots of mids and piercing highs then these are your buds otherwise, save your money and get a set of radio shack $19 foam buds because they sound better by far.
I like the Shures, and actually the stock iPod buds are quite nice. I rarely will review a product and if I do its because its either Outstanding in its class or an absolute failure. The latter is the case here. Buy with caution!
Digital camera Review: Best Buds Ever! Summary: 5 Stars
By far the best earbuds I've used. They are far more comfortable than Apple's earbuds and the sound quality is fantastic! When I first used them, I thought I heard someone behind me getting an email chime, but low and behold it was me!
Digital camera Review: Best fitting headphones! say goodbye to tangled wire Summary: 5 Stars
I bought both the EX51LP and the EX71. They both fit perfectly in my ear, isolating most noises from the surroundings. Included case is also very convenient.
Sound quality is decent but the usual Sony earphone problem-lack of bass, but for $25, I didnt expect extreme superb sound anyway.
One thing I like about these earphones is the fact that they are very very comfortable to wear. The iPod earphones are just way too painful for me to wear more than 15 mins. And they block the noise so well, the 1st time I put them on, felt like I'm the only one exist in the world.
The best thing about this earphones is actually the little plastic case included in the package. I'm sure you all have experience when using earphones: trying to sort out the tangled wire, which will take about 10 mins, then u listen to your mp3 for 2 mins and put them away. But with these Sony earphones, all you need to do is to enclose the 2 ear pieces in the plastic capsule, then no matter how you tangle the wire, the 2 ear pieces come untangeled within secs. It is amazing, I've tried with my friends many times to tangle the wire with the plastic capsule on, everytime it comes sorted in mere secs. In my opinion, the most wonderful design for earphones!
So if you like convenience no-tangle wire and isolation of noise but cares less about having alot of bass, this is the perfect earphone for you!
Digital camera Review: Best so far Summary: 5 Stars
These are the best headphones I've owned. They fit comfortably. They block out ambient sound like road noise while driving. I Highly recommend these because of the quality and price.
Digital camera Review: Better Than I Expected Summary: 5 Stars
I've had these for 1.5 years, and don't have any complaints. They sound just as good as anything else I've had at this price point, they've been sturdy enough to hold up to almost daily use, and they're comfortable enough for me to wear them for hours at a time (say on an airplane). They have that strange design so that they are made for the wire to go behind your head. It's a bit hard to describe if you haven't seen it. On normal earbuds, the main chord comes from your MP3 player, then splits into a "V" with the two earbuds at the ends of the "V." This is more like, the main chord connects to the right earbud, then the left ear bud connects to the right one, so that the whole arrangement kind of looks like an upside down "L." Anyway, I'm making it sound worse than it is. It's actually quite a comfortable arrangement once you get over the initial strangeness of it. I would purchase these again...they were a good buy.
