Digital camera Review: Cord design terrible but the sound is good
Summary: 2 Stars

The cord design of these is terrible. You'll have about 6 inches from the attachment point to your left ear and about 20 inches from your right ear to your attachment point. This is especially agravating for RIGHT HANDED individual (pshh hardly any of those). Why is this an issue because it really is only not awkward if you hold your mp3 player (or whatever) in your left hand as the normal cord is too short. I always use the extra extended cable, which makes the entire cable maybe a foot too big for ordinary use.

The sound is good for the price (doesn't compare to my normal set of headphones), but sporadically I feel like they are hurting my ears (not in a physical sense). I have a feeling this has to do with either improper wma encoding or (more than likely as I've never had this before with other headphones) improper sound design of the speakers.

Question is though... would I spend the $30 amazon asks for them? Yes, as they are definately the best in that price range, but don't go to Best Buy or Circuit City to get them as the price will be too high. I expected more from Sony.

Digital camera Review: DA BOM DIGGITY
Summary: 5 Stars

Love the bass output from these little speakers. At little ackward to get use to but the sound is great.

Digital camera Review: DO NOT BUY THESE
Summary: 1 Stars

I have never written a review for a product before, but these headphones are bad enough to warrant my online tirade. In essence, I have grown to hate these headphones enough to want to A) warn other potential buyers, and B) to hopefully get Sony to notice what a bad job they did.

The good things:
The sound is ok - nothing worth complaining about
The headphones are comfortable - they fit snuggly in my ears and are comfortable for hours on end.

The BAAAADD things:
- for some reason sony designed it so that one earbud is supposed to go around behind your head. A Mistake. First it looks awkward, second it feels awkward and is clumsy to put on. Who wants to reach around their head everytime they want to put earbuds in?

- the cord is too long. yes it comes with a case. The case does nothing and is actually more of a hassle to use since you have to shove the earphones in there for them to fit. If you stow the cord away for even a minute, it is prone to becoming tangled and to tie itself into knots that take forever to untie.

- the cord material deteriorates!! after about 8 months of use (and not even constant use at that), the plastic coating on the wires becomes really thin and eventually just begins to fall off! On my headphones there is a chunk of about 3 inches of exposed wire right next to my ear. Granted, the headphones still work. But, if your going to buy headphones, at least get a pair that won't begin spontaneously decomposing.

bottom line: DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!!!

Digital camera Review: Decent for the first week
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought these headphones thinking I would finally replace the stock iPod phones. The first week they were great sound-wise, though I found they fell out rather easily when the cord was jogged on my work commute. However, after maybe 2 or 3 weeks the wiring in the left ear was apparently faulty, and they now only have sound through the right ear -the left statics in and out. I've had good experience with other Sony products in the past and generally think their sound quality is good, which these demonstrated, however I would have been better off buying some cheap headphones that would at least keep working. Never Sony again!

Digital camera Review: Don't Buy!
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought these awhile ago when my iPod earplugs stopped working. I was initially happy with these. However the wire on the Left and Right side are different lengths. Since the Left side is shorter I tend to find when you are moving it tends to pull-out and come loose from your ear. I've tried everything to adjust them properly to my ears, but it's just a bad design. Don't Buy These!
