Digital camera Review: BEST EVER

These headphones do not possess the latest technology, but just work. You do need 'line of sight' to the transmitter, for them to work, but that is just about the only con I've found. They are really comfortable to wear, even after a few hours, but the best thing they have is the battery life.
With the supplied rechargeable batteries, they are supposed to last up to 40 hours on a single charge. The longest I've used them is for 12 hours straight and for another 8 hours the next day before recharging them and did not fail. Recharging them is a matter of leaving them on the cradle/transmitter overnight, and they will be ready for the next day. If you go with regular batteries (optional) they are supposed to last for over 60 hours before they need to be replaced, which is a great option, allowing you to use regular batteries after the rechargeable ones finally wear out and get another set.
I bought them to use with my computer to replace regular headphones, and installation was as simple as plugging in the connectors, and the transmitter power supply. They just worked. I've also hooked them up to my stereo and TV with the same ease, and am seriously thinking about purchasing another pair to save me from plugging and unplugging them from different appliances.

As one who is very particular when it comes to sound quality AND overall quality, I can only highly recommend this product. I have owned several other wireless headsets by different manufacturers only to be disappointed. This Sony headset is by far one of the best I've had.
The headset itself only LOOKS cheap at first glance, but is actually very lightweight and easy to use. The sound quality is much better than expected and I get perfect reception-I have not experienced ANY hiss or static whatsoever.
A major plus is that you simply hook it up, turn it on and enjoy it-no searching for channels, no adjusting this or that-nothing. I also like the fact that you can use the included rechargable battery or normal AAA batteries in this unit.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would encourage anyone else in the market for a product like this to buy it....NOW !

THESE HEADPHONES ARE GREAT. I ONLY REGRET THAT I DIDN'T GET THEM SOONER. I HAD BEEN USING A SET WITH A 16 FOOT WIRE TO WATCH TV IN BED,AND WAS ALWAYS ANNOYED WITH HAVING TO BE SURE NOT TO TRIP OVER THE WIRE. I love these headphones. For the price I paid, they perform very well. NOTE: YOU MUST TURN OFF THE SPEAKERS BUILT INTO YOUR TV, TURN THE VOLUME OF YOUR TV SET TO ALMOST MAXIMUM, AND THEN TURN THE HEADPHONES ON AND ADJUST THE LISTENING VOLUME WITH THE VOLUME CONTROL WHEEL BUILT INTO THE RIGHT EARPHONE. IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THE ABOVE PROCEEDURE YOU WILL BE ANNOYED BY BACKGROUND HISS. I've owned two pair of these Sony MDR-IF240RK headphones for over a year (with no problems) and I just bought two more pairs for my in-laws. Stay away from these headphones only IF "YOU HAVE A PLASMA TV" they do not work with Plasma TV's. Guess they would with another TV, like a CRT---but who uses that anymore?
