Just one complaint, when you turn on the volume on the headset you hear a whisper. But ideally you buy this headset so that you wife/husband can sleep next to you therefore there is total silence in the room. That means you never need to turn the volume so much...
I loved this product and I am happy I did not go for a more expensive one. This one is just perfect.
I had doubts at the time of purcashe because it was so cheap. But now I am satisfied and assured that expensive is not always better.

Besides occasionally coming home to watch some TV after my wife is in bed, I have had some trouble understanding the dialogue on TV broadcasts because our set has those 2-cent speakers that manufacturers like to install. This Sony headphone system completely corrects the problem. It works wonderfully, allows you to turn off the set's speakers, is in hi-fi and stereo, does not pick up the buzz from other electronic devices being used nearby, and is of much better quality at a lower price than those TV Ears you see advertised. I've purchased two, one for me and one as a gift. I highly recommend them if you have the same needs.Digital camera Review: Best ever

First off, if you're sitting there wondering if you should buy these, do it! I recently had the infamous logitech bluetooth headphones that snap after a few uses, and they sure did. Now I have gotten a pair of these on the mega cheap, and its completely made my bedroom pc setup the best ever. I have my wireless keyboard mouse setup with these headphones so I can play COD on my 32" LCD from across the room on the couch..>
But enough about that.
Firstly these things are very comfortable. My ears arent sore or red or anything bad after using them for hours. They also havent caught my hair in the adjustable sides, a most unpleasant experience indeed. My only gripe is if you lean your head forward and face the floor a little you might find these fall off easily. This can be a hazard if you like to leave them on while you take a pee break during gaming. I have fast reflexes so these babies were unharmed.
The sound quality to me is very good. Im by no means an audiophile but I'm quite satisfied by them. Empty static is basically gone if you sit straight from the reciever. If you get off to the sides some you may notice a little fuzz but its only in dead silence. the slightest noise will cover any static you may hear. The downside is the odd football shape of the recievable area. If I go 8-10 feet to the right of the reciever its dead empty, no sound. However I have around 20 feet of love from directly in front. So if I want to put music on and lay on my bed, I have to turn the reciever so I can hear the music in my room.
The mechanics are well designed. The headset auto off's when you place it on the charger, This is great too. The chargeable battery gets 35 hours, not like you ever will need it. Then too you can pop a AAA battery in and get an advertised 60! The volume control is accurate and I find it easy to reach also. The dock has lights for indicating status, and looks nice too.
Basically I think this is the best buy among wireless headphones under $80-100 bucks. I've tried 80 dollar ones and found these nicer in lots of ways. Its not overly hardcore and doesnt cover your ear with an inflatable life raft, but its pretty great all around. The rechargeable factor is awesome and the setup was easy as could be. A+ Product by an A+ company.

We have purchased three different headsets. My husband is very hard of hearing and this one is the best both for him and for me. He can crank up the volume, and I can mute the TV if I don't want to hear what he is watching! It is saving my hearing as well! This is our second Sony...only because we wanted one in each location we have a TV, not because it didn't work. Others do not have the same options for the non-user. Our first one is about two years old. Replaced the battery only once and he uses it every day!
