Hi,
I have been using this headphone for last 3-4 months. Sound quality is really good. Charging is very easy and battery works for more time. No disturbance by phone call or any other sound. Only problem is the range, doesn't work properly beyond 20 m.
Overall good headphone for such low price.

I bought this product to watch TV while my wife is asleep. The sound quality is so good, I even use it when I am alone in the bedroom. The only thing I don't like is that headphones has to be in the line of sight to work. If I have to leave room and loose line of sight, then audio is cut off. My mom, 94, had extreme difficulty clearly understanding the voices on the television. She has moderate to severe hearing loss (higher ranges). She could hear snipits of words, and would guess as to the actual message. I read about TV Ears and found both negative and positive comments. One writer dumped TV Ears for the Sony product mentioned. Bought the Sony MDR -IF240 and tried it at home, before taking it to Mom. Then installed it at her home. They work great, very easy to use, comfortable,and most importantly, she hears everything very clearly. They work better than hearing aids because the sound is directed straight into the ears. A winner.

I bought it becuase it is cheap, 3rd SONY IF headphones for myself and i have tried several brands and other wireless technology before and I am stickign with IF and after 10 minutes researching. The only reason i need to get this becuase the old one's battery is dead.
I did tried to just order the specail Battery from SONY but it is not worth the wait, hassle and time.
And the new battery SONY sent me didnt last hald as long as the first one. it is understand-able since if they dont make the model no more, why would i expect to get a fresh battery for a 15 years old product.
There are only 3 , all form SONY and ibought the lightestest one.
I really want to know if i am willing to pay 3-4 times the price, do i get the 3-4 time sound quality back and i am pretty sure I did the right choice. I am fairly into Car stereo and I do have a high demand in nice/good sound quality. I saw those 299 or 300 big set of SONY IF headphone, I am not gonna wear such a big headphone and try to feel comfortable in my seat at home watching Movie and playing loud games on my 65" while my woman is trying to sleep. This 45 piece will just do the right job and it will last me a long time for sure.I know since i have used sony product for a long time. It does not comes in a big/heavy haedphone, not big box shape transmitter which only take more room(room is expensive if you have all consoles, 7.1 channel reciver) , and the most important is gettign the same 30mm size headphone for extra 250$.
If anyone who bought this SONY IF240 and have also tried other expensive model /different brand, please reply to share experience.
I highly recommend this product for games and movies, if u want perfect sound quality, throw in 10k to your car stereo, it will comes out better then you spending 100k at home.
This headphone is good enough for 99% population, not for DJs or those who is willing to spend more then 10k for a subwoofer.
