Digital camera reviews of Sony MDR-J10 h.ear Headphones with Non-Slip Design (Black)Digital camera Review: Best I've Had! Summary: 5 Stars
The earbuds that actually fit inside the ear canal don't fit me for some reason--this design that projects the sound into the ear but holds securly on the outside is perfect!!
Digital camera Review: Best headphones for exercise ever, hands down Summary: 5 Stars
Great build quality, clear sound, and they don't budge during exercise. The perfect headphones, and the price is unbelievable. I would have paid 4 times as much.
Digital camera Review: Better than what I was working with....but not the best Summary: 3 Stars
These earphones were a welcome substitution for my ear buds I was using. They work well for running, but I switch back to ear buds when I'm doing other stuff (like biking or walking about). I've had negligible annoyances when I had to get these ear phones on and then arrange my sunglasses in a perfect way that won't push off the ear phones. Otherwise, these are cool for the price and again, I only use them for running.
Digital camera Review: Buy Maxell NBHB210 instead! Summary: 1 Stars
These Sony MDR-J10 are horrible. I bought them for running. First of all, they don't fit well - I'm not even sure if they're too big or too small, they're just all wrong. Second, as soon as I start to sweat they get slippery and fall out of my ears. I LOVE listening to music when I run, but I actually took these out halfway through my workout and just listened to my footsteps. The next day I went to wal-mart and bought Maxell NBHB210. Love them!!! You have to stretch out the headband a little so they don't pinch but the sound is great and they stay in - and when you sweat they still stay secure. And I know we're only talking a few bucks, but the Maxells are actually about half the price of this Sony piece of junk.
Digital camera Review: Buy a CD instead. Summary: 2 Stars
These looked cool for those walks around the block, and the price was right. But that's as good as it gets. They may not bring down the neighborhood, but they bring down the once-proud name of Sony. Not only is the sound of music sharp, tinny, and bass-deprived, but the pin never seems to lodge securely in my player, leading to distortion and the cutting out of sound in one of the headphones.
My wife recently purchased a comparable pair of Brookstones at the airport. They cost three times more, but they sound at least three times better.
