Digital camera Review: WANT EAR DAMAGE?, THEN BUY SONY!

I bought a pair of these in FEB'06 for almost $200. For that price you would think they would last more than 2 years, especially when they've only been used about 20 times. Nope last few flights, I get this constant annoying, almost deafening, high pitch blaring with the noise cancelling feature on. It stops briefly when I tap on the ear piece then returns. I even tried new batteries to no improvement.
I called Sony customer care to see if they could exchange them with a refurbished product. Nope, rep told me the warranty was only 3 months! For $200!! WAY TO STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT SONY!
I'm suppose to call Customer relations on Monday-I think I know where that's going.
I won't be buying Sony again unless they replace these. Read all the reviews before you buy, alot of people have had the same issue with this model and the newer NC60.
You're suppose to get what you pay for, not with this brand. Designed by Sony but made in China, cheap labor belting out cheap product, hence the 3 month warranty.

The function can run for up to 30 hours on one AAA battery, and with the ability to switch the feature off, you'll be able to conserve your battery life and use noise canceling only when it's needed.
