Digital camera Review: Best Headphones for Gym Folks

I bought these headphones to use while working out at the Gym. I used to own the same model headphones before and had been using them for 2 years while at work and at the gym. Since after much wear and tear my earlier pair stopped working I bought the same model again. What I like most other than the over the ear design is the design of the plug which connects to the mp3 player. Its short and does so at right angle to the player and hence doesn't extend much outside the player which is ideal for working out. The clip on design is my favorite since it allows you to play the music as loud as you want and still doesn't hurt your ears (might differ from person to person). The headphones are durable since I have had them for over 4 years now, and these would be my second pair of headphones. The sound quality is decent and adequate. Cord too long - Thought I would never say this about headphone is that the cord is WAYY to long and tangle easly.
So overall the headphone are the best I came across and I went through tons of headphone. And for the price you cant complain...

I have owned a lot of these kinds of headphones but I gave these ones a try on a whim and two years later they sound and feel as good as they did when I bought them. The sound is great and the way the feel on your ears is amazing. They are also very durable, I have dropped them yanked on them crushed them and they continue to keep on playing and for once the ear foam doesn't rip off from every day use. Overall these are some of the best I have ever found and if they ever did break I would buy them again.Digital camera Review: Best headphones I've ever had

I love these headphones and have now bought them three times. The first time I used them everyday without fail and they lasted about 3 years, which in my opinion is really good. What finally gave out was the padding around the actual earpiece, which tore. They still worked after that, but they weren't as comfortable, so I thought it was time for a new one. I bought my second pair over a year ago and they are still in great shape. I haven't even started the last pair yet, but bought them just in case they decide to stop making this style.
I've tried a lot of different headphones (over the head, in ear, buds, and other clip-ons), but these have been the best by far. While I generally like over the head ones because of they are the most comfortable, these Sony clip-ons are just as good. After a while I don't even realize they are there, that's how comfortable they are. The sound is pretty good, considering they aren't meant to be noise cancelling. Although when you first put them on they may feel a little loose, they are actually very secure, I even run in them without any problems. They are also very portable and lightweight, great for traveling.
I also love the interchangeable covers and wish they would come out with more colors.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these. Great price, great product.

These are absolutely excellent in all facets. They fit snugly and comfortably (there's a trick to getting them on just right), they sound as good as plenty of $50+ sets I've used, and they are extremely durable. I bought my first set of these in 2004, and liked them so much I bought two more. I still have all three sets. The foam covers rotted and disintegrated from the moisture and abuse I put them through, but they still work 100% and sound as good as new. I've tied the cords in knots, gotten them soaking wet, even muddy, dropped and crushed and beaten, and they just take it all. The gold plated connector keeps the sound clean and clear despite all this, and the cord, though you might think it flimsy, is actually far more durable than the standard kind. The bass response in these is unbelievable for passive speakers, and they won't ruin your ears as bad as ear buds. As others have noted, sound does leak out, but if you put them on right, they will sound great and plenty loud for you.
The trick to putting these on right is to hold the clips open all the way, place them on your ears, rotate the phones forward on your ears slightly, then letting the clips do the tightening. They fit snugly yet comfortably, and sound great. I also wear glasses, and these don't interfere. I have worn these in all weather, wet and dry, kept them in a backpack full of books, and even worn them to bed on a daily basis. You can't beat these at this price point, and you won't be disappointed in the quality of this set.
