Digital camera Review: Excellent Sound, Great Bass Response

Until recently I had the Koss ksc75 headphones and thought that while the sound/bass was excellent they kind of made me look like I had princess Leia ears since they stuck out a bit so I decided to try something new but the same type (clip ons). At first I got a Panasonic pair but they sounded like you were listening to music through a tin can as the bass response was terrible no matter how I tried to adjust the music. Then I bought these babies and couldnt be happier. The sound quality is excellent and the bass response is exactly the way it should be, meaning not having to adjust my music to fit the headphones instead of the other way around. I have read in other reviews that you cant expect too much for a "cheap" pair of headphones and I disagree as the sound quality with the Koss and now these are excellent. Lets face it, you arent going to want a bulky pair of "quality" headphones whether you jog or workout but I dont think its unreasonable to look for good sound without sacrificing something in exchange and with these you dont have that problem. I also like the way these fit closer to my ears and have a lower "profile" on the side of my head as they are smaller and stay in place no matter how my head moves. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the asymetric cord but thats easily fixed by putting the cord behind your neck and thats where it stays. I don't care for in-ear earbuds (painful) or standard headphones (big, hurts my ears by compression). These headphones were perfect - they hook over my ears, and are nice and comfy. I've had my pair since 2005, and it's still going strong.
There's two choices of removable caps (silver and blue) if you wish to change colors, but I've never had a reason to. I've stuck with the silver, but then again I'm only wearing them at home.
Bass doesn't come through very well, but then again I'm comparing it to the bass box on my speaker system. I doubt many - or any - headphones can compare to a bass box.
The spongy bit covering the earpiece is still going strong. I've been expecting it to rip or get tattered, but that has yet to happen. When that does happen, I'll probably just buy a new pair. It's cheap, anyway. And my pair has lasted for five years now.

I really like these Sony clip-on, open-air style earphones very much. They allow me to be totally aware of my local environment while really enjoying listening and getting some real work done at the same time too. They are even quite light and comfortable on my ears for a very long interval (> ~2-3 hours at a time) even while using reading glasses. They sound great to my ears to boot! In addition, they act as an excellent FM antenna for my Sony SRF-M37W AM/FM/Weatherband pocket radio. The extra ~1/2 m length of cable makes a very big reception difference on FM stations in comparison to the original Sony quality earphones that came with the SRF-M37W. Even with the very long cord they are very easy to roll up and carry in a shirt or pants pocket without any problems, especially compared to the traditional Sony earphones that came with my pocket radio. They were my Father's day gift this year and they are very much appreciated!Digital camera Review: Excellent!!!

I bought these headphones for working out. They sound better than I expected. Fit comfortably and stay on during my workouts. I plug them into my Iphone and listen to mp3s. If I get a call or message, the music silences automatically. I am really pleased with the sound quality especially for the price. They literally sound like Bose quality. Ever since i bought my sony walkman, my expection of sony product is extremely high. This product however is not the case. I bought these thinking that i can have a loud, crisp bass sound that if i were to ride my bike and put the earclip behind my neck BUT on my shoulder that i would be able to hear it. This turn out to not be the case. I am not a audiophile but i also prefer to not listen to music close to my ears. I have perfect hearing because i know how to protect my ears. This is just one reason why i design to go with the clip on headphones instead of a earplug(earphone that goes directly in your ears). Even turning the volume on my ipod nano at its maximum, these headphones are barely listenable. Even with loud rock song, or loud country song, it is almost impossible to hear if there is any traffic no matter if it a residental area or a main intersection. This was the most important factor in my decision. Therefore i gave this product a three out of five stars. I think it perfect for the average person that is not a audiophile, but for me, not able to show off my music to the rest of the world is a huge disapointment. I believe that everything else beside my "importance factor" is up to par. The clip on headphone is very confortable, even more so that my sony hear earphones. Ironicly, it has a lower bass sound than the H ear earphones which is 10 dollar less. The "cool factor" is also in play here. It would be neat if sony would include different color of earpiece rather than just blue and silver. Though, this is not very important, since sony is offering two extra earpiece. Though i hope the two extra earpiece doesn't make the product cost more. Since i doubt few people listen to music like i do, this is be somewhere perfect for the normal person. WARNING! if you or someone you know have small ears, these will hurt tremendously and can bend your ear down when you are wearing them. Also if you have earings, taking out the headphones can sometime pull the earings out of your ear accidently. This is very dangerous, so i hope you are careful. Since my "important factor" is not meant, i will return these, and hoping to find another headphone that meet my need.
