Digital camera reviews of Sony Mdr-As20J Active Style Headphones with Soft Loop Hangers (Black)Digital camera Review: Pleasantly surprised Summary: 5 StarsI am a 6'2 200 pound runner/lifter who wanted a set of headphones that would not fall out when exercising, and didn't feel uncomfortable or pop out of place or shift when exercising. These headphones cost me $20, solid price.
I usually go with the Skullcandy smoking earbuds, but those fall out.
These headphones are the most secure I've tried during running, and they actually have good sound quality. They don't sound tinny like Ipod headphones, they have very good balance, especially for a cheapo pair of headphones.
They do not have a volume adjuster on the cord, which stinks a little. And you can't just pop them on your ear, they have to be placed on. This ensures a solid fit.
Overall - I give em an 8 -9. They did the job. Take note though, I am a bigger guy with bigger ears, so the earphones may not be as secure for tiny people.
Digital camera Review: Awesome! Summary: 5 StarsFINALLY! At last - a set of earphones that don't fall out. I can shake my head like crazy and they don't fall out. I like the fit and the sound is very good. Really happy with the quality so far. Absolutely worth the price paid. You will not regret purchasing for exercising, jogging, etc. No negatives at all.
Digital camera Review: Pretty good for the price Summary: 3 StarsGreat sound, definitely don't fall off the ears no matter how vigorous the workout. Only complaint is the the actual ear bud parts don't quite fit perfectly into my ears because the full-circle style of the clips make adjustment of the earbuds themselves a little tricky, but may vary with shape of your ears. Otherwise, pretty good.
Digital camera Review: stays put Summary: 4 StarsI've tried many headphones for running--over the head, behind the neck, earbuds--and these are the only ones that stay put without having to constantly re-adjust or cram back into the ear. The sound is decent for running, the design still lets in ambient sound so I am alert to any trucks or dogs bearing down on me. I've had them on for over an hour at a time and they are comfortable.
Digital camera Review: Horrible if you have small ears Summary: 2 StarsI have only been running a couple years, but am still in searh of the perfect headphones since my ears are pretty small. Two inches tall to be exact. After reading these reviews I had hoped to have finally found the headphones for me. Didn't even get out of a quick walking warm up and they were falling off. I have glasses so I tried to put them on over them to keep them in place. No go. My search continues, but if you are looking for the perfect headphones I'd keep on moving.
