Digital camera reviews of Sony RK-G138 Audio Connecting Cable for Headphone Extension (3 meters)

Digital camera Review: Perfect for what I needed
Summary: 5 Stars

I was looking for an audio extension cable to use in my car, to extend the AUX input to my mp3 player. This cable fit the bill perfectly, as it is good quality but very thin, making it easy to hide behind trim panels and fish into the dashboard area. May be a little too thin to stand up to heavy use around the house, but was perfect for what I needed in the car. Sound quality is very good as well, and the gold-plated contacts seem like they'll stand up to a lot of plugging/unplugging abuse.

Digital camera Review: Perfectly great item
Summary: 5 Stars

The cord is thinner and softer than you'd expect (bordering on cheap, almost, which sometimes comes off as "premium" to some) but it works perfectly and doesn't seem to affect sound quality one bit. A great purchase if you need an extension that does both 1/4 jack and a mini-jack.

I got what I ordered (RK-138 Audio Connecting Cable) exactly when it was estimated to arrive and it works perfectly - can't ask for more than that.

Digital camera Review: Sony RJ-G138 connecting cable for headphone extension.

I don't always use the extension (3 meters) but this comes in handy when I need the extra length. J. Hall

Digital camera Review: Sony RK-G138 Audio Cable Extension review, solid buy
Summary: 5 Stars

I needed a cable to extend 10 feet since we have a small 2-bed condo and our little one can hear the noise, so we attached a radio shack extension cable, but it has issues connecting and the sound dips in and out. The quality of the radio shack one was pretty poor, but I paid around $5. At any rate, I plugged these in and it was smooth as butter. No more wiggling the cable to make sure it's connected and the extra length is a great since the radio shack one was an 8 footer. The thin cable is also nice so that it can easily be twisted around and then velcro tied so the cord doesn't get everywhere. It's a Sony product and they're usually over priced, but reliable and well made. The texture of the extension cord is nice as it's a little stiff and smooth so it shouldn't get tangled up. I reviewed the velco ties that I bought from Amazon as well if you want to see what I use.
