I bought two of these cables, and at first I was using them with a splitter so I could hook up both speakers from a dual monitor system (speakers mounted on LDC monitors). I no longer have that setup so now I am using one to extend the reach of my microphone, so I don't have to climb behind the desk to plug it in. The other one I'm using between my iPod and my car, which has a built in AUX funtion. As for sound quality, everything seems to pass through them just fine. They are thick enough not to get pinched, but thin enough to be flexible. Overall I'd say these are some very handy cables to have around!Digital camera Review: Top notch sound quality

Just got the item, came 2 days early :D
Does exactly what I needed it for.
My only complaint is that it doesnt snap when you connect it in. So it will pull out a bit if you snug it
And the wire is reallly thin, but it doesnt deplete the audio.
