Digital camera reviews of Sony Rechargeable AAA 900 mAh NiMH Batteries, 4 PackDigital camera Review: Best Batteries Summary: 5 Stars
I love these rechargeable batteries. They last longer than regular alkaline batteries and the investment is worth it. I've reused them several times already so a few more and I'll have earned my money back.
Digital camera Review: Cannot hold charge, get eneloop instead Summary: 1 Stars
I have used sanyo eneloop's for a few years, but thought I'd try these sony's because they claim to be 900mAh (vs. the 750-800mAh eneloop's).
The eneloop's will last 10-11 hours in my MP3, but the Sony's last anywhere from 8 minutes to 50 minutes. We've charged them 4 times with the same result. If the vendor will not take them back, we will throw them out, it's just too much hassle to change batteries in the middle of exercising, etc. all the time. Our charger is a Panasonic BQ-390, which is an excellent smart charger.
Don't waste your time with these Sony batteries.
Digital camera Review: Charges and Recharges Summary: 4 Stars
Used mostly in my camera. Reliable for two years of charging about every other week. Wish it would've lasted longer though.
Digital camera Review: Charges without flashing Summary: 5 Stars
Unlike Radio Shack Batteries Sony batteries always charges in the charger with a steady light. The result is you don't have to throw them out as defective. The Radio Shack batteries usually flash when I put them in my duracell charger indicating failability even though they might hold a partial charge. In certain situations when I needed a picture or the mp3 player stopped playing the cost/benifit of these batteries were outweighed by the Sony batteries
Digital camera Review: Cheap and Easy - Just the Way I Like It. Summary: 5 Stars
The batteries are great. I walk to work everyday so my MP3 player gets a lot of use. The Rechargable batteries are saving me a ton of money.
