Digital camera reviews of Sony SRF-M37V FM/AM/Weather/TV Radio Walkman with 25 Memory PresetsDigital camera Review: Excelent radio Summary: 5 Stars
Excelent signal and sensitive.
After 6 months of purchasing I am very happy with it.
Digital camera Review: Excelente producto!!!!!!!! Excellent product! Summary: 5 Stars
Digital camera Review: Excellent Price Performer--Senior Citizen Summary: 5 Stars
Using this Sony Walkman as my travel radio after several years owning a comparable Sangeon (it died after a moderate fall) has brought me back to Sony products. Price was about 1/3 of a comparable Sangeon model; sensitivity and station selection is excellent; battery life is yet to be seen--I'm still on my first AAA battery. Some of the critiques about presets really don't apply when going cross country in a train, for example; anyway, does anyone really use 25 presets?
Digital camera Review: Excellent Small Radio Summary: 5 Stars
This is simply the best portable AM/FM radio I've found. It's very small and digitally tuned with presets.
Digital camera Review: Excellent little radio! Summary: 5 Stars
In spite of the bad reviews of the Sony SRF-M85V S2, I bought one since it supposedly was a higher-end product than the Sony SRF-M37V. What a mistake. I should've paid attention to all the bad reviews of the S2. It was absolute junk! I can't believe it is even a Sony product.
I then purchased the M37V in hopes that all the glowing reviews here were accurate. They were!
I love the M37V! It pulls in stations with excellent fidelity. There is no discernable hiss or static on all the stations I've tried on AM/FM/TV. It is also a lot easier and more intuitive to operate than the S2.
The only drawback is the big, ugly, over-ear headphones that come with the M37V. Why would Sony package the tiny radio with such huge headphones instead of earbuds? The reason most people buy a tiny radio is because size is of the essence. It should be packaged with earbuds.
I feel compelled to mention that I bought some inexpensive JVC Gumy earbuds (HA-F120-A) for the Sony radio. They only cost $9. I'm compelled to mention it because they are such an outstanding product for so little money. They blow away IPOD earbuds in both sound and comfort. They sound as good or better than earbuds that cost over 5 times more.
The Sony SRF-M37V paired with the JVC Gumy earbuds is an outstanding combination that I highly recommend.
