I have had this radio for quite some time and absolutely love it. It is simple to use and very well made. The only thing I would change is the type of headphone that comes with it. I prefer the "earbud" type better because they are more discreet and don't mess up my hair. But that's just me. I highly recommend this radio.Digital camera Review: Best value around

This is the third Sony personal radio I have owned. Dollar for dollar it can't be beat. The reception is outstanding for its class. And I have owned several different brands and even more expensive models.
Although it is a bit bulky, it will fit in a pocket no problem. The buttons can be differentiated by feel and location. And the buttons can be locked so as not to change by accident. Features 5 AM and 10 FM presets. You also get weather broadcast but I have never used it for that. The volume wheel can not be locked.
Battery life is great. And the sound quality is excellent. I think this radio is a good choice for people who like to listen to the AM dial inside of buildings.

Except for the fact that you have to be somewhat careful with the belt clip so it doesn't snap in half, this is, by far, the best AM/FM pocket radio available! I like to use a different Sony headset rather than the one that comes with it, but that is really a matter of personal preference. This radio is everything I need in a portable radio! I use while I run every morning and it is rugged, has great reception and clips on my waist without any problems at all. It is bigger than the other Sony radios that wrap around your arm but this one is one tough radio and provides great reception with a great price. I will purchase another one if and when this ones bites the dust.
