Digital camera Review: A Piece of Junk at Any Price

Complainers get real? I received this radio for Christmas so I didn't have the paperwork to return it. I endured the static, the miserable reception, the shoddy construction, and the cheap earphones for about a month before I finally, in a fit of disgust, slammed it in the trash at the gym. The reception indoors was completely intolerable, but even outdoors the radio would cut in and out constantly and the ever-present hiss of static was like listening to the radio in the shower. On one of the blocks I walk on my way to work the radio would just cut out entirely, replaced by a caterwall of noise and static. If I had been trying to listen to music rather than NPR I wouldn't have put up with it for a single day.
I'm testing out a Coby CX-9 right now, and I actually logged in here today to figure out how to return it. The thing is, the Coby is ten times the radio that the Sony is and it cost something like $12. It not only has much better reception it even feels like a more high quality product (except for the cheap earbuds). So the Coby's not bad, especially outside, but I mainly need a radio for the gym and my girlfriend's Philips/Nike PSA110 works pretty well in the gym so I'm going to give up and order one of those. I'd rather not because it doesn't have AM, but I don't feel like ordering and returning any more radios.
So please don't order this radio. Sony doesn't need to be rewarded for such sloppy work.
