Digital camera reviews of Sony SRF-M97 Radio Walkman

Digital camera Review: Great walkman
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a great walkman. I only gave it four stars though because there has been times in the fm station has got a little fuzzy. But more often than not it plays great. It's easy to learn how to set your channel and also has a timer for 30,60, or 90 minute turn off. Would buy again.

Digital camera Review: High Tech Solution for AM/FM Radio Lovers
Summary: 5 Stars

The size of a cigarette lighter, digital, and great reception. For those who still like to listen to live radio instead of pre-recorded music.

Digital camera Review: Just what our Son wanted!
Summary: 5 Stars

This was a Christmas gift...could not get the item locally in our stores...Thanks to Amazon I found it and it came in on time.

Digital camera Review: Love the size
Summary: 3 Stars

This is the first portable radio I have ever used. I love the size - small enough to not be in my way when I work out. Reception is not perfect but since I've never had another one, I don't have anything to compare to. But overall, I can get most of the stations I want to listen to with bearable statics some of the time (depending which direction I'm facing). I got a $30 discount for getting an Amazon credit card. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought it for $60.

Digital camera Review: Maybe the best walkman I have owned.
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been using walkman type radios since 9/11 almost daily for up to 5 hrs. I listen to talk radio and music. This is the smallest model I have had, and one of the best, if not the best. It fits easily in my pocket, and I can change stations/bands without removing it. The reception is very good, certainly in the top 2 of the radios I have used. I work in a building surrounded by metal cases, and it can be hard to pick up stations. This radio does the job, although one of my favorite stations sometimes fades a little when I turn in certain directions. It took me about 5 min to figure out how to add/change stations, but once I got it, it was very simple. Just press the wheel to change bands, and jog the wheel to change stations. Battery life is very good. It takes 1 AAA battery, and I am going on day 15 with an average of 4+ hrs a day.The only minor point, (besides the minor reception issue), is that the volume wheel is next to the headphone connection, and a little hard for my large fingers to adjust. I am thinking about buying another and putting it away in case it's not available when this one wears out ~ Ron
