This receiver is a great entry level receiver. I am still looking to acquire my speakers. More than likely I will go with a set of Bose. But, for right now I have a set of Phillips speakers from an older system. They work but I don't have a powered subwoofer yet so, I am not reaping the benefits of the sound. My A/V Receiver was a bit difficult to set up. I connected it to the Bravia Sony TV with Bose surround speakers. The speaker calibration was very good (my speakers are not in ideal locations). With the receiver connected to the TV changing Inputs takes a second or 2 and seems slow compared to just using the TV. I am using a Harmony remote and TIVO. Increasing the volume is slow also. Unfortuantely different stations have different sound levels so volume is used often. Just hitting volume up once doesn't change the volume. You have to hold it or hit the button several times and watch the display. Overall, I am happy with the choice. Nothing is perfect these days and everything seems more complicated than it needs to be. I did quite a bit of research on line and with friends who have purchased Sony Amps in the past. This model was the best choice for us in a unit that was low priced and good performance. connections were simple and the instructions were straight forward. Only problem is that this unit puts out a great deal of heat, very hot to the touch after just one movie. I recommend auxiliary fan or placing outside your TV cabinet if it has glass doors.Digital camera Review: Stereo

Saving and using radios stations was confusing at first.
