Digital camera reviews of Sony TCM-150 Cassette Recorder with Automatic Recording Level ControlDigital camera Review: Great Basic Player/Recorder Summary: 4 StarsI primarily bought the TCM-150 to play back audio tapes. Some of the earlier comments mentioned its frequency range. Remember that this is a portable tape player. Besides, if you're interested in fidelity, you should look at something else. For my part, I was personally happy with the rock tape I played. I was especially pleased with the built-in speaker. It's larger than I expected for a player of this size. Consequently, I can easily listen to audio without having to use earphones. Finally, I didn't see any problems with the player's quality.
Digital camera Review: Great for projects! Summary: 4 StarsI only needed this for a school project but it is easy to use, records voices clearly and its light/small enough to tote around with you. Definitely a great buy for a great price!
Digital camera Review: great way to listen to books on tape Summary: 5 StarsIs this a stereo for music? No. Is it perfect for listening to Flashman books on tape? YES. Takes a full size headphones and the sound is superb for voice while not bothering your mate two feet away. Two A batteries last for dozens of cassettes. When sound garbles, it's time to replace batteries. Elegantly simple and well engineered.
Digital camera Review: Monaural only Summary: 2 StarsI expected that it would only record in monaural (after all, there's only one microphone and speaker), but I didn't expect that the headphone outlet would be monaural only. So, you can't listen to pre-recorded tapes in stereo, only monaural.
Digital camera Review: Great Product Summary: 5 StarsThis is product being used by my son to get statements from the High School Football Coach on what he thinks of the game plays.
In other words....
1) Rough Use
2) Wet/Damp Weather
3) Cold Temperatures
4) Reliable
