I got these solely for gym and running use because they stay on more securely than earbuds, and they've turned out to be a wonderfully durable pair of earphones. They get bundled up and stashed in my full gym bag all the time, yet the headband won't break; I've worn them in pouring rain and in cold weather with no problem. I've had mine for at least four years and keep forgetting to buy a fresh pair because they still work alright. As for the sound quality part, I think they're ok, but I'm sure anyone who knows anything about hi-fi stuff would disagree (I understand that a $10 product must have flaws). However, I think these earphones are great, and I'm glad they're still available so I can finally get that fresh pair.Digital camera Review: A runner's best friend!

As a runner, I need lightweight headphones that don't jump/move/jar around. I hate ear buds (hate them!) as they are seemingly designed for people w/LARGE ear holes! These things are tiny, fit nicely IN your ear and provide great sound without annoying you on a long run! The price is fabulous too! Last time I ordered, I bought 4 pairs (whenever I like something it seems to be discontinued) and I just broke into pair #2 this week (after almost a year w/the others). I've run in these for 3 half marathons and countless training runs, inside and out. If I wouldn't wad them up and throw them in my gym bag, they'd probably last even longer, but eventually one side tends to give out.Digital camera Review: A staple - I can't live without!

I have been using this model (and the earlier versions in the line) of headphone for many, many years now. They have accompanied me from cassette walkman to CD player to iPod. As inexpensive as these are, they are surprisingly well made with great durability. I use them to run and work out and have never been disappointed. When the time comes after many months of my abusing them with hard exercise, I always look to get the exact same model to replace them.
I could not recommend this product any more highly.

These sound infinitely better than the ear buds that come with the IPODS plus they don't fall out of your ears like the buds. A few years ago I did pull one of the wires out so you do have to be a little careful with them. Plus they only cost $9.99.
