Digital camera reviews of Sony Ultra Lightweight MDR-W08L Vertical In-The-Ear Headphones

Digital camera Review: Comfortable, lightweight, and amazing price!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have never liked regular earbuds; they don't stay in well (my ears are often too small) and are uncomfortable. However I don't want big bulky headphones either. These are perfect: lightweight, comfortable, stay in well, and very inexpensive. They are a little flimsy, but as long as you don't abuse they they should be fine. I've used them for some light excercise but have yet to use them for more. I spent a bit of time picking out headphones as I am picky with them and these were a great choice

Overall: highly recommended and great deal

Digital camera Review: Completely and totally adequate
Summary: 4 Stars

Headphones met my expectations based upon price and other reviews. Lightweight, inexpensive and sound decent.

Digital camera Review: Cord is abnormally short- can't use mp3 player in pocket or reach pc
Summary: 3 Stars

The cord is 8-10" shorter than other headphones. I can't place my mp3 player in my pocket and I can't reach the front of my PC which is right next to me. I can however use them with my SansaClip player which I clip on the top of my short and then it's just about the prefect length and it's nice not having tons of extra cord. I threw away the package so I don't know the length it claims but when I measure from the plug to where the cord enters either side of the headphone, I get 40.5 inches. In comparison, I have cheap $12 sony earbuds that measures 49 inches and my Sennheiser PMX70 at 51.5 inches, both which are on average with the dozen or so other pairs I've owned. If you don't need to put your player in your pocket or you have a much shorter torso than me (I am 6'1"), then you'll be fine and it may just be the perfect length. You could always get a cheap cord extension for your PC to make these work. These stay on pretty well when I jog, occasionally I have trouble with one side popping out of an ear. I like that these are not in-the-ear type headphones like to hear my surroundings when running.

Digital camera Review: Cord too short
Summary: 3 Stars

The sound is not bad and they are very light, but the cord is so short that if you have your player in your pocket and are on the treadmill, the cord will get yanked out of the player. This happened to me a few times. If you have your player on an arm band it should be fine.

Digital camera Review: Decent Sound Quality But Cord Too Short For Gym
Summary: 2 Stars

Headphone sound quality is decent. Extremely light weight.
Being 6ft tall I found the cord to be way too short to
have iPod shuffle in my pocket. The cord is also slightly
too short to plug into the cardio station at the gym.
If you're 5' 10" or taller, I do not recommend this product.
Try Sony MDR-A35 instead.
