I bought this as a replacement for an old Walkman. I really like, it but the old one had automatic rewind which I miss. Also the earphones are bigger than my old one, but I can live with them. My elderly mother refuses to give up her cassettes, so when her Walkman broke, I purchased two more for her! Although I have given her an iPod stocked with music, she still finds the Walkman easy to use, and her rather old cassettes still sound good on this Walkman. While also using an MP3 player and CD's, there are loads of tapes on the shelf that will probably never get converted to another format, so looked for a cassette walkman. Wasn't even sure they still made them, and was glad to find this on line. Having a blast listening to the old favorites again. Price was right, headphones are comfortable and the old tapes sound terrific. Didn't buy it for the radio so can't comment on overall reception quality, though was pleasantly surprised at the reception on a couple of channels I did try. Just bought it so not sure of battery life or product durability, but hope it lasts a very long time.Digital camera Review: Hard to find cassette player.

My hunt for an easy to use inexpensive radio has ended.
I have had this radio for a month and do a lot of outdoor work around the house. Finding a portable radio that won't cost an arm and leg but that can stand up to outdoor rigor has been tough.
Its great, perfect fit.
