I had to return our first one. After about 3-4 minutes of playing music, it started to change the volume down to 0, without any reason. After a couple of days, we couldn't even raise the volume up anymore without having to turn it off and restart. That was pretty annoying. Amazon was great, they sent us a new one with no hassles. Our second one works great. Good bass, pretty loud for such little speakers and it charges our Ipod Touch 3rd edition. This little speaker produces great sound, especially for its size, and provides for features other expensive brand-names don't, like the very basic bass/treble control.
Very pleased with this purchase. Oh, and it fits great in my "country kitchen" theme. :0)

I purchased Speakal iPig 2.1 Stereo iPod Docking Station with 5 Speakers (Pink) and the sound quality is GREAT. I have Itouch 3rd gen, itouch 4th gen and a 5th gen nano.
It comes with all the sizing pieces that I think are useless. And my 4th gen itouch has a case on it to protect it from my sons little hand and it doesn't fit in the charging plug without taking the case off. That is real pain in the u know what. I don't want to keep taking the case off to put it in. It does have the outlet cord but of course that will not charge.
Overall I love the little guy except for the fitting problem with the case protector. I would recommend.
