Digital camera Review: Exactly what I needed

Incredible product. Added the bulk I needed for the Nano and looks like it could take a mean drop. Feels very comfortable in the hand. You would need to take your iPod out of the case to put it in a dock but I bought a tuner that plugged into the port instead of a dock. I can really only give this sleeve 4 stars. With the promotional rebate Amazon had when I purchased this, they ended up paying me $1.01 to own it...and for that price, what's not to love.
That said, I love this sleeve. I went through about a half dozen different sleeves that all had to be returned for various reasons - they were dirt collectors (biggest offense), didn't fit, couldn't access controls, flimsy, etc. This one looks pretty good (although not really small), fits the iPod perfectly, NEVER falls out, I can access every control INCLUDING the USB connection. In fact, I leave my Pod in this sleeve when I connect it to our Bose system and it fits just fine without having to take it out - this was one of my big concerns. All of that and it is the least likely of any sleeves I've owned to attract every speck of dirt and lint within 5 miles. What can I say, it's exactly what I wanted.
However, I don't think I would have paid more than $12-13 for it if not for the promotion. Even after owning it, it's just a piece of rubber and I think $13 is a fair price, $19 is a bit excessive. You make the call on value.

After a rebate, I got paid a dollar to take this. How could I pass up a deal like that? I'm very glad I bought this. I am very hard on my personal electronics, and both my phone and nano go flying at least once a week. I was using the Agent 18 Shock Kit cover and wasn't entirely happy--I didn't think it absorbed shocks well, the rubber bumpers fell off, and it was very hard to take my nano out of it. I absolutely love this Speck cover. My 2nd gen nano fits into it perfectly and it protects very, very well. I really love the ridges; they make it much easier to find while rooting around in my bag. I just wish it was clear so I could actually see the red on my nano, but at least the center button shows red.Digital camera Review: Excellent Vendor

Pros:
1. has belt clip
2. has a a plastic screen protector
3. looks sharp especially with a black nano
4. does protect well against scratches
5. good grip
Cons:
1. very thick
2. very bulky - with this thing on the nano is no longer nano
3. plastic is too cheap/pliable
4. does not fit well
5. plastic around the circle for the controls is very thick - unless you have fingers like q-tips you will hit the middle button instead of the others all the time
6. the list price is ridiculous for a piece of low quality plastic
